so im thinking about an autometer c2 5'' tach w/ a shift light. but...i dont want every ricer in town pullin up next to me, seein the tach, and trying to race. i also dont want every cop in town to see the tach and pull me over for doin 2 miles over the speed limit. my solution is this: in my dads 66 shebly (road race prepped) the tach is mounted underneath the dash, somewhat in the passenger foot well. anybody seen this done? also, what parts could i buy to help mount it down there?
