Hi.
I'm hoping someone can help me out.
For about a week now, whenever I start up my car I hear a loud ticking (only lasts several seconds) coming from the tachometer (it's similar to the ticking sound you hear from the instrument panel when you shut off the engine -- only louder).
The tachometer works fine. It doesn't make any noise whatsoever when I rev the engine or when I'm driving. Only on start-up.
Anyone have any theories? It's still under warranty, but if it's just a noisy stepper motor and not something getting ready to fail, I can live with it.
Thanks.
Greg
