Whats the deal on tail lights I see 79-93, then 79-86, 79-82,83-86,87-93 ......so do 87-93 fit on 86 I heard just the threads are different on the newer ones meaning you need to keep the wingnut type things seperate. Is that true??

i do believe that they all will bolt right in the lenses just look different go to www.cardomain.com and look at the lenses of the different years and you can tell the difference hope this helps
the only ones that won't just bolt in are 79-82 into 83-93 (as far as I know)...those just require a little cutting. other than that, you shouyld be fine.

what siege said....they only have different years on them because they are a different 'design'. The LX tail lenses from 87-93 dont have the actual amber plastic that the 86's have.
