Taillight Problems

I have an 87 GT that I have put LX taillights on. I have had two sets stolen off my car throughout the years. All someone has to do is just pull them off. Does anyone know a permanent fix for the lenses? Let me know if you have done anything to yours to permanetly affix them to your car.

As I know you're familiar with how the inside of the taillight lenses look, you could drill holes going from the outside of the housings through to the lenses, and then get self-tapping screws and screw them through the holes in the housing and in through the holes in the lenses.

Could they still steal your lenses after doing this? Yeah, but it'll be a lot harder and they won't be able to do it without cracking the lenses.

Interestingly, I've never had this problem before.
