Thanks to Mike I did the resto to my new tails on my 93, here are the before and after pics both taken same time of day no flash.

Before.

After, see spray-chrome is good for something. I will do a side by side at night test when the 90 comes back home.

I took mine apart and cleaned the lenses and used the Duplicolor spray chrome on the reflectors and it worked great. Looks 100 times better!

I havent had GT tails on the car for 10+ years, unless you mean the 4 eye lenses....

Wow, spray chrome put to good use and that set up looks CARB approved to me, look how much clean air gets pushed through there....lol

636/600 on ultra soft tune.
14 psi, 91 octane.

It has a too small .86 A/R on it now, I need a .96 and a new tune.

with the new A/R housing, new tune and a little (2-3psi) more I expect 700+ to be pretty easy.

Yeah the exh housing will help quite a but, forgot you had the small .86 on there. Shoot me a text with your new number 717-343-2108 like to chat turbo with ya... I used that Canfield Intake on another turbo car

Sure you could break the lenes if not careful. I started at the bottom and only used my hands, no tools.

I didnt heat them up or anything, It is not hard to do just take your time and go slow.

I also removed the old nasty stock tape and used RTV to reseal.

Bling bling.

So what, pull the tail lights off the car, carefully remove the lenses, then just spray paint the insides of the housing with chrome spray paint, put rtv in to seal the lense, then just squish it back together?

I have some lights on my 80 coupe that are dimmer than the others and it looks stupid, so will this be the fix to my problem?

that pretty much sums it up. be careful when you pull the lens from the housing, If i remember right the lenses on the 80's are different and might be hard to find.
The factory used butyl tape to seal the lenses but Ive used a thick bead of RTV on mine and it worked fine.

Ya that is what im afraid of.. My lenses are mint, and they aren't easy to find either.. Haha
