Taillights

My 94 stock taillights are dingy and dull. I have seen other mustangs with perfectly clear ones...is it possible to buy new/unused ones? Or do mine have some kind of internal problem?

Have you tried buffing them out with some plastic polish? That ussually does this trick, unless they are dirty in the inside.

It is on the inside.....they look aweful!

you can try to take them apart to clean them but i dont really recomned doing that. their is a chance of breaking the lens or not resealing them. call 5.0 restoration and you can get a price from them.

If you want it on the cheap, then hit ebay or any junkyards. Stock tailights like that aren't a hard to find item on a junkyard car so if they have any of the sn95 stangs they more than likely have the light assemblies as well.

Sounds like to me they aren't sealed too well right now. I'd take them apart and try to clean them. If it doesn't work out, you were planning on getting new ones anyway...
