Tailshaft Seal???

I have an 02 GT 5spd has 52k on it i have this grease or some type of oil on the underside near the mufflers what is this i read another post on here and said it could b the tailshaft seal how much would it cost to repair this thanks...

$10-15 part

4-bolts on the driveshaft. Slide it off, replace the seal, slide driveshaft back on. Tighten bolts.


It's not a difficult repair, but if you don't feel confident enough let someone do it for you. Buy the seal yourself from ford and bring it to a mechanic. SHouldn't take more than an hour really with a lift and air tools.
