I just ordered the cobra upper and lower intake, 70mm throttle body, 4.10 gears, ASP pulleys, and the cai. I have a shift kit and 190 f/p. What do you all think I'll be running in my car. I know it's heavy and I have removed the smog equipment, stb, braces under tranny, fog lights, gutted trunk, carpet and door insulation, and dogbone after gears. I still need a full exhaust and will be getting mac l/t, prochamber, and xr1s. FYI, I ran 15.4 at 92mph when I took it about 2 weeks ago. What other minor things might help me out to get the most out of it. I'd really like to know what I'm going to be running more or less.

PS, and just to be on the safe side, I'll borrow my friends slicks. I'm excited but don't want to feel stupid when I don't feel the results. I guess this thread is just so I can have something to aim at.

I would say low 14's, and maybe high 13's. But like it has been stated before...it all depends on the driver and track conditions. Good luck.

I think there should be a sticky on these questions that appear every couple days...

Sort of like a WHAT IF I ADDED This and that thread.

Your gonna still be in the 14's...just keep spending that money.

And whats a DOGBONE?

Mid-high 14's is my guess. You will not see 13's IMHO. Make your first pass with at least 20lbs of air in the slicks. I doubt you'll spin them and if you do you can lower the tire pressure on the next pass. By keeping the pressure high it will be more stable on the top end (especially if you are not used to the way slicks "feel" when going down the track) and they will avoid rolling over on themselves and zapping some MPH out of the car. I always run as much air as possible in my ET streets. All of my runs on the ET's have been with them around 17-22lbs of air in them.
