I ordered a set of door and ignition lock set and was going to install the ignition set ASAP because it was getting hard to turn it in to the ACC. position, the problem is that the locks came a little late and the only position I can get the ignition to go into is on and start.... how can I get it out now? Any clues or hints.... I had to pull it out before to fix the electrical part of the ignition. I would love not to tear up my dash to get it out, will I have to get a new switch (the electrical part….)

I am assuming you have tried putting a straightened out paper clip in the small hole on the front of the ignition cylinder to release the lock while trying to turn it to the ACC position?

I don't have any ideas myself without looking at it.

I ran across someone a while back that had an ignition cylinder that was stuck but from what I recall he just kept messing with it and it eventually came loose.

I had the opposite problem with mine one time. I was working on a speaker wire so kept turning the key back to ACC to test things on the radio. The next day my ignition was acting strange like it had come loose. Ended up having to borrow a paper clip from a sandwich shop and take the key cylinder out then put it back in right in a parking lot. Some how I had managed to jiggle / trip the lock by turning it back to ACC too many times.
