Well let me try this again with an actual poll this time.

OK People it's your chance to decide what goes on my car

Where talking supercharger's here and of course for a 4.6 Cobra engine.

On one corner you've got Kenne Bell

Pros: Full boost by 2k.

Cons: no intercooler, would have to sit on my 5.0 kit till I find a buyer.

I'm sure there are others but thats all I can think of right now.


and On the other corner Vortech

Pros: intercooled, can be taken off easier.

Cons: Takes up more space, full boost later on the rpm scale. I may have someone that will trade me straight up for my 5.0 kit.

The KB is known as blowzilla for a reason. 03 Cobras are putting down 600rwhp on stock everything else with them. Vortech is respectable but not the same thing. I'd go for the KB.

I'll take instant boost any day.
The KB would be my supercharger of choice.

Another vote for the Kenne Bell. It's the one I hope to get far off in the future. I remember one of my favorite articles in a Mag was out of Super Rod. They built a 5.0, stock lower end, honed the bore. Threw on some AFR 185s, I believe a XE 282 cam, and GT-40 lower intake. Put on the KB, ended up laying down like 508hp and like 486ftlb at 3500rpm or something like that. Torque curve was as flat as I've ever seen.

I get good vibes thinking about that and the 331 I want to build
