Taking care of vinyls

I have aftermarket vinyl stripes on my car and I was wondering what are good products to use to make sure they stay on the car (I hope thats not really an issue) like cleaners and such that won't destroy the adhesive bonding. Thanks.

a few years ago, i had black vinyl stripes on my xtreme s10. they looked a little scuffed from age, weather, washing, etc. i polished them with a buffer as i was doing the whole truck. i was careful to not grab any edges with the buffer or get it too hot, and it came out great. they looked great until i traded it a couple years later. that was the only thing i ever did to the stripes

there is this stuff called plexus and its a polish for vinyl and it works great
