Taking my car into the tranny shop for a leak ?'s

This thursday I am taking my car in to get a transmission leak fixed. I had the car looked at, and was told that it was leaking from the bell housing. The gu says it is the o-ring on the front pump, and tranny will only leak when the car is off...

He quoted me $450+ tax. Is this a good deal, or does it sound like I am getting taken advantage of?

I would get a second opinion if you can? I know when my clutch went out, I was in a bind and paid too much.
