anyone in here know where to get cheap lifters and an easy way to install them (prime them) or how much a shop should charge to replace them? Also will nitrous do more damage to my engine if they're tapping?

When I installed new ones during my rebuild I used Engine lube... Are you sure you don't need to adjust your pushrods?

The FMS are about $100. I am going to replace mine with those over the winter.

I just soaked mine in oil for like half an hour prolly didnt even need to be that long. installed them....all you need to do is get both intakes off and then unbolt ur rockers; take off (cant remember what its called) the metal piece that holds the lifters in place (two bolts), and throw them in. not too bad. Dont know what a shop charges but the whole thing for me (first time tearin' into an engine) took like 4 hours.
