Taurus Electric Fan Q

This may sound stupid, but is the electric fan suppose to push air onto the engine, or pull it to the front of the car? Thanks

A Taurus fan goes behind the radiator (on the motor side) to pull air through from the front. Puller fans are far more efficient than pusher fans, because pusher fans have to fight against the wind resistance created when you're going faster than, say, 5mph.
