tax returns kick ass!!!!

my 4 wheeler was the same thing as the KB. i took out a loan to get it too. i have over 10k in it and it sits outside in the yard all day and night. someone could come up and steal it at anytime. thats why i got insurance on it. when i put the KB on isnt there some way i can put additional insurance on the car??? i dont see any problems in using a loan to mod my stang

Tax Return money is money YOU earned for working, and gave to the Gov. to hold interest free... then it comes back and all of a sudden it is free money even though you worked for it?

The money is not free...:nonono:

Use it to pay off Credit Debt, Insurance, House Payments, Car Payments, Etc.

well i know it would take me at least 2 years to save enough cash to but the KB straight out. the reason i'm wanting to get everything now is b/c i'm getting married in september. i want to get all this stuff done before i get hitched, while i still can!!!! i just called KB and the total price is $5632 for the 1.7 IC kit with the big tube intake 90mm mass air and switch chip.

You are a young man don't do it.

Get married i mean.:bang:

Save your money bud. I'm 22, been working for a year making 45k and have a measily $4,500 saved up. In 2005 I spent $21,000. 15k of that could have been saved. However, 6k+ went to the stang (no power either. Supid 3k rims!) and I love spending money on the gf. This year I'm trying to turn that around. Just save man, You're young. The blower will come in time. ;)

Don't forget you'll need a good amount of money for the wedding/honeymoon, unless you're lucky enough to get it paid for. Even with help from parents, we still blew about $10K. Now I'm spending 1200/month on daycare for 2 kids. Can't wait till they go to school.

i really want to know if everyone really pays cash for their MAJOR mods. i just cant see how anyone could drop $6000 cash money for a KB!!
Its simple...you make more then you owe/spend then you have a surplus leftover.Your 22 now, in 10 years you will hopefully be where I am and 6,000 won't seem like so much. I've spent a good 12,000 on my car over the past year bringing it back from the dead. I still have about 8,000 to go this spring before it will be finished. I've had this car since 96 and i'll have it another 20 years so its a worthy investment to me. I own both my houses and my cars are all paid. Now if I owed even 1000 dollars on my car that would have to be paid off before I considered buying mods. KEEP YOUR DEBT LOW!!!! If I hadn't I wouldn't have been able to invest in the things I have. Please pay off your car before you put a KB on it. Also at your age 6,000 dollars could be used to invest in a rental condo or something to help you later in life.
