I just looked up my tb adapter on summit and it seems that the edelbrock adapter is only a 58mm and I am going to put a 75mm tb on so what should i do.
I don't really know how to port so should i try to port it to 75, or buy a TFS adapter and sell my edelbrock?

I really doubt there is enough metal there to port from a 58mm to a 75mm, that would mean the side wall would have to be over 17mm thick. I got myself a SVO adapter, it is 70mm, but I don't even think it can be made into a 75mm... or it wouldn't be worth the time it took. Unfortunately, I think you are going to need to get that 75mm TFS adapter or go to a smaller TB. With your setup (at least the one in your sig.) I don't think you have any need for a TB that is that big. Unless you have forced induction, I would say 70mm would be plenty for a N/A car. I read an article in 5.0 mag that proved a 65mm TB on a 5.0 had more HP that a 75mm as well. I hope this helps.

well thans for the input but just so you all know i'm stickign with the 75mm tb because i already got it it was a christmas gift from a friend. I went big incase i ever decide on going forced induction then i don't have to buy another one and the fact that i will be adding more mods to my car as the money allows

why the hell would edelbrock be so damn stupid to make a 58mm adapter the only reason you need one is to upgrade intakes don't they think you would upgrade tb's as well

Seems like that is the size of a Fox stocker tb, is it not?

Maybe Summit has got a typo or is confused somehow.

I have a add on question.

I have a 95 cobra with TF 'R' intake. with the TFS TB adapter. I am having problems gettin a breather style oil fil cap to clear my TB adapter, any1 want to post up pics on what they did to solve this problem? or give any info on how to get a breather style oil-fil cap on? I am looking at taking the driver side valve cover off, and welding a pipe on to it to get a breather on. I am running a 118k mile stock bottem end H/C/I spray and cylinder pressure is exploding my timing cover, and valve cover gaskets!!

TIA for the help guys.
