tbird lights on a 65

i got a set of tbird housing for cheap does anyone have the instructions to put them on a 65 mustang i have the article on using three stockhousings a side please help before i cut

I wouldn't cut. Go to www.mustangproject.com and get their LED non cut lights.

I would use the lense housing gasket to template the area of your tail light panel to cut out. Tape it to your taillight panel and trace around the inside perimeter with a wax pencil.

Sounds easier then the triple stock housings per side.

am i the only one who thinks the extra wide tail lights on the first gen cars is ugly?

I agree I don't like it. I have 2 California Specials and they look perfect on those cars.

IMO (and that's not worth much), the T-bird tail lights look better on the wider bodied 67+ Mustangs. Sure wish I liked it though, because it looks killer on the 67+ cars. If only the lights were scaled down... Hmmmm
