TDC piston stop GT40 heads

I bought the comp cams kit and the piston stop does not work. A trip to lowes has turned out unsuccessful as well as searching this site. Does anyone know where I can get something that will work as a stop?

I'm kinda confused, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything bad. What's a piston stop? And uh, what does a piston stop have to do with GT40 heads?

I'm sorry if I was vague, but I meant CAM degree kit. The piston stop is to find TDC accurately.

Ah, that makes sense now. You could always use a dial indicator, and that would be the most accurate means of finding TDC. What doesn't work about the kit you have now? Should be a pretty simple system like a piece of bar stock that attaches to a couple points on the deck with a bolt that runs through to locate TDC, right?

No that would make sense though. they only give you a piston stop for the cylinder head and it doesn't fit! Maybe I could make something work with the heads off.
