Does anyone have any info on this company? I am not sure if I am spelling this correct... Tecko ... A friend a work tells me he has "the hook up" with the company. Said they would put a cai and tune it for me... I don't know about them. Any advice or help would be great.

Techco is a new company with a lot of former Saleen employees. They are set up with a complete machine shop and manufacturing facility with a lot of brain power and nice looking products including the new Techco supercharger system which they make themselves. I know this system looks like the best kit out there.

The Techco intake's maf tube is 100mm which is way too big for a car without aggressive mods like cams, longtubes, heads, etc. Get the C&L Racer if you want something for just bolt ons like UDPs, CMCVs, exhaust, etc. This is only my opinion though.

Really? I new things were too good to be true! They were going to give me the intake for free and install it. All I have to pay for is the tune... And they were going to dyno it!!!! Nasty, do you think it would be a bad idea to do it without the other mods? My 06 is pretty stock except for Flowmaster axleback.

If it's free, let them do it.

With the maf tube being too big.. Is there a chance that I could hurt the engine? I am new to this and would like to do it the right way. Thanks for the help.

No, it won't hurt the engine. Jump all over it, let them do it, get them to dyno tune the car. I bet it'll put out good power and you'll be happy. Did they want to dyno tune the car?

Yea. They are having some openhouse thing in two weeks. They said they wouldlike to detail my car and show the intake off.... I am stoked! Just hope my friend here at work is not trying to look cool! And no we talked about this before April fools day! I am pretty sure they are going to dyno tune it.

You can't go wrong with a free CAI and dyno tune.

It even changed NastyStang's opinion in a hurry.

I don't think you have to worry. The Techco guys are some of the best in the business.
