My car has this odd thing where when I start it up the temp guage will remain right where it was when I shut the car off last (im talking overnight or after being in work for 8 hours), then will slowly get hotter and hotter unitl it goes above and beyond the H. Then all of a sudden after like a minute or so of driving it will shoot back down to dead center of the guage or there abouts and remain there for the rest of the ride. The first time this happened I pulled over right away and did the typical stuff like check the oil and the engine temp and it wasn't that hot(could place the back of my hand on the intake manifold) cause I'd only been driving for a minute or so. So this leads me to believe its an electrical problem, any one have any suggestions or similar experiences? Also just wondering but does everyone elses guage drop down to C when the car is off or is the level maintained like the gas guage?
