Man, I have been amazed by a few thing as I have recently searched for an 03-04 Cobra Vert. The wife finally gave me the green light to check them out, and so far I'm not having much luck. The first is how hard it is to find one that is actually for sale. Second, finding one that hasn't been raped with who knows what kind of mods. And then of course there is the prices. I haven't seen a vert going for less than $30K? Am I looking for a needle in a haystack or is this to be expected?

Keep lookiing, winter is on the way, I'm sure youll find one for a decent price.
I keep trying to get the grandma down the street with one to seel me hers.
I kid you not, she is 62 and drives a 03 cobra, I dont think she has ever driven it over 65 mph. Those are the ones you want to find.

10th anniv, silver vert at my local dealer was going for 28,900 w/ 24k on the dail. as long as these cars are in high demand, i dont see them dropping too dramatically any time soon(see the 05 mustang). my best advice is to keep a SHARP eye on ebay and your local classifides. buying from a private seller eager to depart from the car due to circumstances such as: getting maried/divorced, buying a new home, or putting that fat down payment on the 07 Shelby he reserved should save you about 3 or 4 grand

Keep looking, there out there. I found mine with a little over 9k miles on her from an rich old guy. He even saved me the trouble of getting an exhaust. He put on a Bassani cat back and catted X. by the way I paid $28K

Ive seen some verts as low as $25k, but they had some miles on them and people just wanted out...normally they'll go for $26k-$28k...coupes in the low-mid 20's...good luck with your search and you will be satisfied, even if you spend a little more than you wanted...how mine, 800+rwhp twin turbo coupe...$40k
