Ok guys this weekend is test day for me… I have everything that I think that I need to be safe to jump for a 75 shot of Nitrous to 100 shot…I have one step cooler plugs, drop my timing to 10 degree’s and using 100 octane fuel…

If there is something that I am forgetting or if you guys have any advice could you please let me know before I go and test drive it ? I am doing it on Sunday.

Here is a list of a couple of thing that I have already done to my car…

Under the hood I have GT 40 heads , GT 40 lower and upper intake, E303 ford racing cam, 24 pounds injectors, Full exhaust with magaflow magapacks mufflers, cold air intake , MSD AL box , tremec 3550 with a short shifter, 4:10 gears with a full locker

Have you upgraded your fuel pump?

I run a dp progressive 200 shot on stock bottom end on only 93 pump gas with some octane booster. Only have forged pistons and I drop my WOT timing to 26 initial with 2 degrees more taken out at .5 seconds into n2o, 2 more removed at 1 second in for a total of 22 degrees @ WOT after 1 second of nitrous engagement, I pulse my solenoids from 50% to 100% over 1.5 seconds. I run 11.5:1 AFR on nitrous.

For your setup, I would say that running 100 octane and 10 degrees of initial timing at the dist (26 degrees max WOT) should be fine for a 75-100 shot. What did you gap your plugs to? I run a digital 6 and blaster hvcII coil so I opened my gap to about .045". You can start out around .038" and work your way up. If you wanted to be a little safer, you could set your initial timing to 8 degrees, or set it at 24 degrees and leave the spout out.

Oh, and I highly recommend a wideband gauge to anybody running forced induction.
