Roush Test Drive a New Saleen?

Anybody get an e-mail about teas driving a new Saleen and getting a hat and shirt? I did it today! Hopefully they will send me the shirt and hat! :nice:

....well, from what I have heard, The Saleen Store grand opening is two days away and that test drive a Saleen: get hat and shirt thing is valid. But then again, this is Saleen were're talking about, so the shirt and hat is probably on back order for six months because they owe that vendor money too.........

Mark, did you have to sign a letter of intent before you drove the car? I went to a Saleen dealer here before but they wanted me to sign a letter of intent before I could drive the car. I'm just wondering if they still require such a thing or was it just the dealership itself?

George, I wrote to Saleen asking them about the Parnelli Jones edition. Jeff Clark wrote me back and told me they are going to make 500 of them and they have 350 orders so far! I also then signed up for there e-mail news letter! Thats when they sent me the test drive info! I wouldn't mind having the PJ edition since I was only 16 in 1970 and my folks wouldn't co sign for a new one! I really wanted a grabber blue one! Maybe I can get one now if business would get a little better! Mark:nice:

Saleen sent me the hat and tee-shirt offer via e-mail. So, I printed out a few of those offers and took them to my local Saleen dealer. Since we've bought quite a few Saleen's from them we didn't have to actually test drive any of the cars (we already have an '05). As a result, they just signed the dealer section of the offer and that was it!

Oh how that sounds like a deal. I'd have to sell more then just the Harley to do it though. I'd have to sell my Saleen and the Harley and the wifes Harley and my truck and anything else I have.

.....WHAT??? What kind of asking price do you think I'm looking for?? I don't think you have to sell everything including your first born for it. Like I said in the classified section, no reasonable offer will be refused... You offer me $10K and that's an insult and not a reasonable offer. Think of the asking price and make logical offer and you'll own your own 95 S351... :D :nice:
