Test Fit Autopower Cage today (pics)

Well I finally had a sunny day and I have been out of work for the last week, so me and my boy decided to go to my moms house and test fit the autopower cage before I send it to the paint shop to get painted. It took us a total of 3 hours to get it in the car. Now people remember that this cage was actually taken out of another car, so it took a little bit of strength in some places, and a little bit of finesse to get it into the car, but all in all it went in pretty easy. It might have taken me longer but I already had the whole interior stripped out of the car. We didn't get a chance to drive the car after we installed the cage, because we had to rush off to class. Here are some pics. I didn't think that it would look this bad ass, but it does. Now just imagine it painted the same color as the car, but with black padding. Let me know what you guys think.

Here is a pic of where I mounted it on the wheel well. We just jacked up the car and placed it on jack stands. So that way when we were drilling into the wheel well i didnt accidently puncture the tire. Here is another pic of the complete interior in the driveway. I am just waiting for the interior dye to come, and then it is all getting dyed black.

An occasional road race, and some autocross events. No drag racing in my future. The nearest track is like 2 hours away. Plus I'm not really into drag racing. I'm also going to cruise the car maybe on the weekends, and thats about it.
