So with the know heat issues killing the TFI's I'm thinking of getting this kit, looks well put together - http://www.mccullyracingmotors.com/index_files/tfikits.htm , when I start putting the rest of car back together come spring.. (figure that's the best time to do it) anyone have any experience with this kit, or any others? LMR has this one that is a little more - https://lmr.com/item/FF-423706B/mustang-fat-foxx-tfi-module-relocation-kit-86-93-423706b

Other than the heatsink they looks to be a waste of $$$ to me. Just a few wires to extend it.

I moved the TFI on my 94 to cleaner air just outside the grill opening, no heatsink but still helped I'm sure.

I agree, just get a soldering iron and some wire and move it to the fender well.

Maybe I'm lucky or just good enough, my tfi has been in the stock position for 40k mikes and has been subjected to many hours of 210* temps and sometimes more with no problems.
like I said, just lucky I guess.

I snatched the heat sink from an early 90s f150 at the JY....cost like 4 bucks. Haven't installed it on the car yet.
