will the TFS BOX-R intake fit under 2.5" cowl? or even a stock hood? or should i just stick to the regular style 90mm TFS-R intake

Nope, you'll need atleast a 3 inch cowl hood to clear the R-Box. The Normal style R series intake will clear. Its great on N/A, if you go with a blower it'll suck really bad. I suggest the Holley Systemax 2 and grind the intake out to 75mm tb. IF your going with a blower. -Ian

The regular TFS-R has 11 inches to the mounting flange, while the Box-R has 12.250" to the mounting flange.

A difference of 1 1/4" inches.

he's gonna have a Novi2000 to a 90mm throttle body. 75mm TB won't cut this one.

Talk with rick anderson. I'm in the same situation as you are now. I'm copying his 748rwhp 347 stroker. I can't run a box due to clearance and he says the "Normal" R-series TFS intake sucks balls on Blower cars. Then he said your best bet is a Systemax 2 and grind it to a 75mm TB. You won't lose to much hp. Otherwise go to a box. I trust the man as he gave me dyno results on them Right now i'm deciding if i should loose my hood or go with the holley
