Need a lil' info here..... But I need to stay emissions legal
This is what i'll be running, stock displacement engine, Cobra intake, 70mm tb, 19' soon to be 24's, 73 mass air, flowmaster with equal length headers and an crane cams 2040(e-cam) Now should I go with the tfs highports, or eddy 6037's?? just asking cause I can get a good deal on both sets of heads...

Thanks

If you need to stay emissions legal then the Edelbrock for sure. Not sure but I think the highport heads may be a little to much for a stock bottom end and an E-cam. Besides, the 6037 head is dyno matched to the E-cam. Look at the Edelbrock web sight and their Performer Plus package. The spec for the cam they use are the same as the E-cam. Of course if you notice my mods I might be biased.

i agree with rick that the High Ports are gonna be too much for that setup. The 6037s will work nice, but if you have the cash, as Rick said, a set of 165s will work VERY nice.

I like the Eddy RPM heads...the springs are better, price is better, but flow is down from the AFR's. After having the Eddy's ported on exhaust side the flowed ALMOST as much as a set of AFR's but price worked out to be almost identical. Doing it all over again I'd have just gone straight to the AFR's..though at this point for me a swap wouldn't yeild any worth while advantage...don't skimp...save for the AFR heads.

one of the things that wasnt listed in the thread was budget. you can get a very good set of used heads (TFS, edelbrock, even FMS stuff) at a good price. i think now its more of a question of how fast do you wanna go vs. how much do you have to spend.
