TFS Stage 1 Cam, Help

Would a Trick Flow stage one cam work with a the speed density system? Or do i have to have mass air? Most likely i will end up getting mass air but im just curious if it would even work with speed density. Overall how is the cam itself. My car is stock pretty much except for the cobra upper and lower intake. How do you think it would work with my car? Would another cam be a better choice?

that would be a good cam. Its hard to get any cam to work with speed density, I know there are several that will work. I say go for it. Its a great price and I seen some great number been put out by these cams. Only way to find out if it will work is to get it and try it. Yopur best bet is to go ahead and update to mass air because its so cheap now.

which cam is the stage 1 cam?

TFS-51402000 Good idle, strong midrange power. Aftermarket intake, heads, and headers recommended. Requires modified mass airflow. Compression ratio: 9:1 to 10.5:1.

221 intake/225 exhaust .312 in./.319 in. .499 in./.510 in. 112 Each

TFS-51402001 Fair idle, good midrange power. 2,500 to 3,000 rpm stall converter or five-speed recommended. Compression ratio: 9.5:1 to 11:1.

224 intake/232 exhaust .339 in./.352 in. .542 in./.563 in. 112 Each

After looking at these, it seems like the better bet would be the 2nd one, it has a bigger lift and also a longer duration? WHat do you guys think?

I have heard a lot of good things about the TFS Stage 1 cam. I was thinking about installing it in my 5.0 before I out it in the car, but, now, it will have to come later. I would say do it, but I'm not sure how your Speed Density system will like it.
