TFS valve cover clearance issue... How did you guys fix it

Valve cover his hitting the alt... its the cast alumn trick flow covers stock height.... how did you guys get around it any pics???

can you clearance the alternator at bit to make it fit?

I had the same style setup on my car and it cleared. It was not by much but it cleared.

alright. Moving on from the smart a** remark. I took a look at your thread and your pics. My alternator on my car looks exactly the same as yours does. I am assuming you took the alternator apart to paint it. I think it was put together in the wrong position. My positive cable attachment is towards the top of the alternator, Not towards the bottom. I think that might be your problem. Try it and see.

I have the trick flow tall valve covers and I took the alternator to the grinding wheel and ground down the corner of the back and it cleared.
