The Rutgers were pretty good last year and I would expect them to be pretty good this year as well. Louisville is no joke either.

Plus I think we already proved we can hang. We beat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl AT HOME, and beat Georgia Tech last year. A lot of the players from last year are returning this year, including Slaton and White, who are freakin' awesome.

(as long as they don't disappoint me and lose the "gimmes" like they did last year. sigh.)

While it is true that WVU cant control their own conference, they can control the fact they play no one in the non-conferense.

You cant use beating an average Georgia Tech as proving you can hang. I will give ya props on beating Georiga, but you darn near lost that game after having a 28-0 lead.

Hey dont get me wrong, I would love for my Purdue Boilermakers to have your schedule, even we could go 10-2 with that and we are average at best.

Well, they SHOULD have done better than 10-2 last year and that's why I mentioned the "gimmes."

Now, we did lose to Louisville, although I feel we should have won that game. And there is no way we should have lost to South Florida, that's just inexcusable.

Anyway, I didn't know they picked who they played. If that's the case, I wish they'd play some big-name non conference teams because the schedule they have now is hardly worth getting excited over, aside from Louisville and maybe Rutgers if they prove to be a sleeper again.

The Big East was exciting for awhile there last year....Louisville beat WVU, Rutgers beat Louisville, and then WVU beat Rutgers. Those were some awesome games to watch, and I hope it comes out like that again this year.

Tho, we did lose our RT and RB due to injuries, I think our RB will make a debut at LSU; RT is out for 6 weeks.
