They need to have less time between the last regular season games and the bowl games. All these games are either blowouts or ugly and turnover filled.
I agree...
But Kansas came to play. VT was never really in it.

I think VT made a mistake playing two QBs. Imo Glennon was far better in that game than Taylor. It seemed every time Taylor came it Kansas was smart and stopped him from running.
VT had a chance but just like the WVU vs Oklahoma game a special teams play killed momentum and the winners never looked back.
In the second half o the WVU vs OKlahoma game OU came out and was moving the ball at will and stopped WVU on O. Then for some reason the dumb ass onside kick deflated the Sooners and WVU scored and it killed their momentum and WVU never looked back.
Same deal with the VT game, VT made a huge stop then Mangino called the fake punt and againt after that Kansas had it in the bag.
Btw I felt like I was going to have a heart attack looking at Mangino and I am by no means thin.

What do you think of Bill Stewart? I would think they would have looked to a name coach to bring the recruits. The guy seems genuine but it can't be to popular in Morgantown right now.
Eh, I dunno. Not sure what to think of him, I mean he certainly seems like a nice enough guy, but I think the decision to hire him as head coach seemed like a real spur of the moment thing.
I mean, the players were all really pulling for him to be coach, and a few of the higher ups seemed to like him, so...
Oh, and I have to agree, Mangino looks horrible, good God. I can't believe how huge he is.
Yea the pick six didn't help. They got away with a couple of toss ups downfield. Kept throwing into coverage for some reason. Could have been a lot worse.Kansas gets props, but we beat ourselves. We are a running team, always been that way and the stupid offensive coordinator keep throwing the ball.
Couple of minor bowls this weekend before the best one of all on Monday.
mangino is so disgusting. every time they show him it makes me sick, and i cant believe that guy can be a coach.... he seriously needs to do something about his obesity soon, or he might not be around long to coach that team to another bowl game.
also, his name cracks me up, i keep thinking "mangina" when i hear it
and this bowl season has been about as crazy as the regular season in terms of upsets. i did the "espn bowl pick 'ems" thing on their site.... so far, i suck.
if you dont know how it works, you're supposed to pick what team wins each bowl game, then assign them a point value (between 1 and 32) based on how confident you are they are going to win, and if you're right, you get the number of points you put that game worth.
i've gotten 13 wrong, and 16 right..... with the majority of my wrong ones being the high point ones. i'll never bet on football, that's for sure

Nah...too expensive. Tickets are going for 1200 a piece.
Get this. My kids were due back to school on the 7th after Christmas break but since LSU is in the NCG they were given an extra day. How's that for football fanaticism?

no effing fair! last year, class was mandatory for us at UF both game day AND day after the national championship..... needless to say, i missed the day after, and got points off for it.... what a-holes
SEC makes it two in a row. Georgia is next.
UGA is good, but if UF can slap it's defense into gear, next year, i think we have a chance. it could be that when the UF/UGA game in jaxx comes around, it could be two of the top teams in the country and the winner could be a nat champ contender. i'm looking forward to it

There is no guarantee any SEC team will even make it to the BCS title game. USC, WVU, OSU, Missouri, Oklahoma, etc will all be back next year and will be just as good or better.
I just dont think Georgia is going unbeated and most lilkely will have 2 losses. They play a pretty soft schedule the first 7 games with Arizona State thrown in there as the only maybe loss since its an away game. But then they play LSU, Florida, Kentucky and Auburn in 4 straight road games. That is a scheduling nightmare.

My team didnt have many good plays, but they did beat Central Michigan in a bowl game.
Johnson said Florida, one of his top three choices (along with Florida State) before he settled on LSU, questioned his academic eligibility with the NCAA. ACT officials subsequently reviewed his test results and "flagged" the October score.
"I'm not upset," Johnson said. "Florida made an issue about the ACT score. They're cowards. They had to go behind my back. But that's OK. We play them this year (on Oct. 11 at Florida)."
I heard Urban Meyer had questionable recruiting practices but how much do you want to bet if this kid committed to Florida you wouldn't have heard a word about ACT scores.
