Old girl don't look too bad for a ship that's over 100 years old. That's the USS Texas (BB-35) the last of the dreadnoughts, the only surviving battleship to serve in both world wars, the first battleship to launch an aircraft, the battleship that busted Nazi defenses and traded fire with German artillery on D-Day before heading to the Pacific to bombard the Japanese defenses at Iwo Jima and Okinawa.

Because nothing says " you and your country" quite like a B-52.

I worked on everything but the pods. So, basically the engine, tranny, tracks, ect. I was at Ft Hood when I did. B Battery, 1-21 Field Artillery, 4th ID (then, 41st Fires BDE)

The MLRS and Bradley's share the same chassis. Thereis actually a LMTV version of the mlrs that carries a single pod. We used the HEMTT to transport the full/empty pods. 4 go on the back of a HEMTT.
