Anti semitism is still alive and well in Europe. It was there when the first crusaders attacked and robbed the Jewish ghettos to fund their efforts to retake the Holy Land. It was there in the Middle Ages when Jews were burned for causing the Plague, and it was in Russia when the Tsars ordered the pogroms. And it's still in Europe. I lived there, and saw it first hand. Of course, the Europeans are fair, they tend to be anti Arab too.
The article is especially worthwhile because it touches on the lack of information regarding Japanese attrocities. Through the government controlled eductional system, the Japanese are able to whitewashes their history. The focus becomes the use of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, which allows the government to portray Japan as the victim in WWII, not the aggressor.
