the other night my car poped out of gear and ran into a tree. there is a huge dent in my right front quarter and a little damage to my door. The reason for this is because my parking brake would not work with the new transmission mount associated with the t-5. i believe my exhaust was in the way, not really sure. has anyone ever had this problem and if so, how did you get around it

So sorry to hear that. I had the same issue with my parking brake and the the T5 crossmember. What I did was to put the threaded rod that holds the equalizer U shaped thing on the top of the big flat bar. In other words, the little 'S' shape in the threaded rod will fit in at the top of the flat bar, not the bottom. That way it clears most exhausts. Hope that helps.

Damn , I thought that only happened with FMX's Only with some of them, they'd jump into gear with the engine running.
