lmao.....I know how ya feel, when I was down south I had a few friends in town that I would help out and they would help me. But now that I live in Spanaway, It seems that no one is interested in hanging out and working on each others car's:shrug: guess you need to be in a clique, club or something up here. So I do most of my stuff by myself, except when my wife wants to lend a hand:nice:

Yup I know the feeling!! :D

So what are you going to do about all them rivets?
From my understanding you putty them in, or put icing over it and smooth it out just like you would dents. Then use guidecoat to make sure its flush and get it painted! I may be wrong though...

DD,

You choose wisely, as you got the 90-93 body kit. Only difference is the front, which it has the slots to provent sagging due to pushing air at higher speedz. The 87-89 kits dont have the slots so higher mileage Saleens really have the sagging front air dam. When was the last time you drove that puppy? We should meet for Java some Saturday morning.:nice:

Well... those rivets are #6 stainless countersunk screws actually, on real saleens they use rivets and leave them exposed, but on mine Ill touch them with a little spot putty and smoothe them out. *I hope* they will wind up almost invisible, when it's all done.

I drove it the other day up to starbucks on 192nd and back. It sure loves this cold air.... :D

I need to run by the shop and get an apointment to have the two Jeffs fix a leaky rear end seal for me. Probably do that Monday or Tuesday.

Got a new hood today. Could never quite get the old one to fit just right (after I put all the pieces back together from the blow-off) The passenger side was too flat, didnt want to match the curve of the body line like it should... so I ordered a new one. Except this one was done in black gelcoat, so now I reeeealllyy need paint. Im sportin 3 colors at once. LOL

Java sounds good... what are you guys doing on the 25th?

We should do a SB thing if the weather is clear.

Wants to give a hand?? What that new hooptie she sure should!!:flag:

Will, you ever find what you needed the other day?? You happen to know of any local 94+being sold, preff a vert V8?

craigslist/ebay/autotrader/cars.com for local cars. just got done car shopping myself :D

nice setup you got there, i had some fun times myself too. nobody to help, minimal tools, nothing to go off of but stangnet with no mechanical experience.

sucks when you dont have the $ or shop to take your car to when it breaks/needs work.
