Yesterday My 5 year old who knows better deciced to draw on my driver side fender.(with a screw)

At any rate, I'm getting qoutes from 800.00 (phillip Earls Santee) That's just to fix Scratch and and match hood ect.


Moore street will do it for Like 300.00/ 800.00 if I want to add a Cobra R Hood Install Paint both sides paint Match ect.


Still need to check out so cal paint.

Here's my options

1. Fix the scratch move on with the plan of the day 300.00 save that other 500.00 for the SQ moongoose kit.

2. Sell the Shaker set up, Go with the Cobra R hood 400 plus for part 800 Install paint fix scratch ect

Option two will make room for the KB 2.2 Modular powerhouse kb 2.2 cobra killer (power on demand)

Option two is a hard pill to swallow, put prob worth it what do you guys think?

It's something cheap to try and won't hurt. Take it by a local body shop and ask them for 5 minutes of their time to see what they think. It's tough to tell from pictures.

My story--cat jumped on my '86 hood and left 5 marks down it (wax is slippery, huh, stupid). Took it to the local auto body shop and watched while the guy buffed everything out. I can't say it'll work for you, but it saved me some $ and heartache.

i saw a kid on a leash in pep boys the other day....everytime kid tried to touch something, dad would pull on the leash. was a classic moment all children should be on leashes...lol

Try a scratch remover and a high speed buffer, it worked when my girlfriend backed up into my stangs bumper...that was a fun day...

Eh.. that's kids. My neighbors kids play by my '04 all the time. I caught their 3 year old daughter playing with my billet gas tank door a few weeks ago.. ew was I pissed. My kids know damn well to stay away from it. I feel your pain man.

Ehhh....it's a scratch and not even that bad of a one at that. Try owning a black car and keeping up with them! I say, tan the little buggers hide so he thinks twice about doing it again and put it behind you. It's just the first in a long line of parking lot dings and scratches your car is going to accumulate over its lifetime. And I’m sure this isn’t the worst to come if you’ve got kids. It comes with having them….so consider this one a christening and laugh it off.

Just tell your Insurance agent "someone" keyed your car while it was parked outside. Not sure if you would need a police report to back that up? It's situations like these that we have insurance.
