The idiots at the ford dealer

I've used a $1.19 gasoline siphon with good luck. The squeezer gets a little warm from the fluid, but it is simple to use.

Where did you get this? Somthing i read online says that i can use some thin piping and like a spray attachment from a bottle.

A link would help anyone ?

Autozone, Pep Boys, etc. have the clear plastic gasoline siphons. The good thing is that they self primeand remove a squeezer amount at a time. The tubing fits right down the tranny filler tube. With the price of gas, it may come in handy for other tricks!!!

Just ot make sure, if i suck out too much, and i want to put some back it, its the same hole right?

I don't have time to take it to the dealer in the morning, I have school which I leave at 6, so if i were to go to the dealer i would have to arrive at 5 so i can get their courtesy car to my school. Then I would have to go after school to pick it up... in other words not effective in the least.

I wouldn't take the car back to the Dealer. I took mine in for a front end squeak and they said they needed the car for 3 - 5 days to replace the rack and pinion. I fixed the squeak myself in 15 minutes. I am happy to say my car has not been in the Dealer's Serviceman's hands since I bought it! Maybe that's why it runs so good. Change my own oil /filter every 2,000 miles.

From now on if i need service, i will only go to places where i can keep an eye on what the hell they are doing. no more of that leaving the car in there at the morning and picking it up in the afternoon. Part of the reason is that my dad serviced it last time (he took it to the dealer near his work, i have no money being a high school student) and this is what they did:

1. We took it in to fix a flat, they understanably said that a nail in the sidewall cannot be fixed.
2. We were nearing the 60k mile mark, so we thought that we should just get the service over and done with.
3. Now this is where it starts getting screwed up:
-they charged 600 for a 60k service
- they UNDERFILLED the coolant, apparently there were bubbles in it, but there is a TSB about that? When we took it back they tried to charge us.
- they didn't flush it right, i took a look at the underside o the tank and it still had some residue.
- they overfilled the crankcase, when i called them they said too let it sit and gave me **** about me not knowing how to check it right, same with the ATF.
- they replaced two tires (under our directive) and one of them was flat when we got home, naturally they tried to blame it on us and tried ot charge us.
- they flushed the crankcase... i can do that myself i don't need them to do that.
- they ran injector cleaner, this was a week after i ran seafoam through the tank.
- they cleaned the throttle body, i took a look in there a few days after and it was still full of carbon, they didn't clean the plenum just the throttle blade.
- they charged me for a filter even through i had a K &N on there and put masking tape saying DO NOT REPLACE
- they charged 100 each rotor to machine them...... WTF i can get replacement brembos off tirerack for 100 and install them myself.

My dad not knowing much about cars got screwed over...
