I dunno, someone decided that my car needed a long scratch going across my quarter panel and door, scratching all the way to the metal. I hope I find the guy.....

Anyways, as for my plans for the car, i have roughly 3-4k $ to spend, so I know either turbo or swap is feasable with that kind of budget..... if it ends up being way too much or I dont do either, I tihnk im gonna selle my stang and maybe get a z28? I dunno, those lt1's look nice.......

+1.

I hate to say it man, but you lost me after that comment.

Opinion: sell the 6 cylinder stang and just buy a v8 instead. **** the swap.

Yes it can be done.

1st are you doing the work? If you are that's fine if your not 3 to 4K ain't going to cut it! A decent shop will give you flat rate for the swap, stay away from backyard mechanics (unless you know them) Under the table work is fine if you know them, as with any big project not everything goes right the first time you'll want someone who will stand behind their work.
Are you leaving the stock V6 rear end in? If not factor in a rear and a set of gears. Are you structs & shocks up to snuff (they are the same for both V6 & GT's) but if they are tired upgrade them. The JY engine, not the best option as they'll bone you for everything else, you're better off to find a doner car and swap wholesale that way you'll have everything at your finger tips. I didn 't go that way and had to chase down parts! It wasn't so much the extra cost but rather the time driving all over the place to get parts.
