The Level Of Derailment In Threads Lately...

Lets face it fellas, our cars are old. It's all been done before and there aren't really any new products lately. Everything one needs to know can be found via Google. Which is why it erks me when people reply, "do a search." One can reply "do a search" to every single thread(save for the bs lately). If we all did a search there would be no need for any new forum traffic. We could just use the archives from the gillion 302 based Mustang forums. So the moral of the story is cut the "do a search" out. Be cordial and answer the guys question. Same applies to "check the tech sticky."

I agree with this. Sometimes when you search, the results tend to come up as posts in different threads that don't even pertain to your issue or whatever. The engine picks up those words and searches for threads and posts containing those words, and then you have to take the time to sift through 1234567890 different responses, when you can post up a thread asking your question, and someone answers your question clearly and correct, saving you time and maybe even frustration.
