'88 roller block all fresh stock bottom end w/ the exception of studs and a girdle, F303 cam, victor jr. heads w/ 2.05/1.60s, K-motion springs, harland sharp roller rockers, electric water pump, parker funnel web intake, all arp fastners including head studs, msd dizzy w/ wires, edelbrock 600cfm carb. If i can get an honest 280hp out of it I will be tickled.

That combo needs a bigger carb! You are leaving 40+ H.P. on the table by choking it down with a 600 cfm carb.

If it were mine, (and it is not) I would use a 750 cfm Demon carb. With a little tuning that engine should be a beast. Expect the power to be the strongest from 3K to 6.4K (based on the intake and heads)

this carb is one i have had laying around for about two yrs now. I doubt very seriously it's worth a *****. I will take your recomendations bullitt347 thanks

I'd watch getting too big of a carb...call holley's tech line an see what they recommend. My bro had a dart headed 355 an put too big a carb on it. called barry grant an they said to use a 650.
