Just wanted to post cause I'm so happy! Took the car in to the shop this morning and it sounds so killer! Sounds fast, even it it's not, lol. Much louder than it was, and so far, I don't notice any bad smell inside the car.

Nice, what did it cost? Did the shop give you a hard time about installing a non-street legal setup?

A shop charged me $45 to put it on only because they had to weld the H part together.

But mine sounds mean as heck with the stock mufflers on there. Glad to hear you enjoy yours!

Well, it ended up costing $85, I think cause everything was so rusted together, it took awhile. And nope, I didn't get a hard time, I took it to the speed shop on my Fedex route, and they are really cool there. I have to admit to not being completely honest with the hubby, which I feel bad about, but when he got home from work I told him I called the shop this morning to ask how much and they told me to bring it in cause they were slow (I had scheduled it ahead of time). I paid for it out of money I saved myself, and I thought for sure he'd be super mad anyway, but he was in a good mood and didn't get mad, which was really cool, cause I was terrified about telling him.

Edit: forgot to say, in penance for not being totally honest, I am ebaying crap off to pay for the paint on his new hood as a surprise for him.

If a PS3 preorder is selling for a couple of grand, surely my wife would be worth at least twice that. Lots more play time with the wife than the PS3!

Guess it might have to be a used stang...maybe a 76 with 323k miles on it and one bolt holding the frame together.

Well, I dunno, every time I do something new I think it feels faster, but then I always think I'm probably just imagining it. I haven't been WOT, cause it's pretty trafficky around here, and I keep thinking I'm going to get pulled over for it being too loud. I am going back outside to wax it in a minute, and when I'm done, I'm taking it out for a little while. If I can find a fairly clear stretch of road, I'll play with it a little and let you know..

There was a ton of cars out today but I did get on it a little bit, and I do think it's faster, but like I said, I'm never sure if I'm imagining it or not. It does get a lot more attention now, lol. Some guy in a Dodge truck with exhaust was revving right along side me, and a vette was staying right with me every time I got on it. I hafta get out of the house earlier tomorrow before traffic picks up...

Well, finally had a chance this morning, and I do think it was faster. I keep finding excuses why I have to go out now ("I'm just gonna go to WaWa for coffee", or "I forgot to get bread, I have to go back out, be right back"), haha.
