With all these top 10 teams losing, my BYU Cougars may actually move up a spot or 2 on a BYE week

wouldnt surprise me one bit!

the question is, how will they rank all these losing top 25 teams?

I'd say UF drops the least, due to how close it was. then USC due to their comeback. UGA? they drop the furthest, due to the exposure that they're having! what a joke!

Im not sure its good to be #1 this early in the season...but looks like that will be the case.

I still think by seasons end, eveyone will have atleast one loss. But I realy think this is OUs year. All the intangibles that have been missing in their last 5 years of near misses and blowout losses in BCS games are there. We've actually got a squad this year that stays focused, and doesnt have the attitude that they can just show up and win..because they're Oklahoma.

And I wouldnt count out USC, as much as I hate it...they will worm their way back towards the top.

With Oklahoma's schedule it is their's to lose. They should stay up if they don't have a let down.

Florida...well what can I say? You pressure Tebow and they fall apart. They went away from his running threat so teams are stacking the middle and hurrying his throws. Once he gets pressured he loses his vision. Look for more of the same in two weeks. :D

Bama jumps LSU in the AP...guess LSU's win against #9 (at the time) Auburn at their place wasn't as impressive as Bama's win at UGA...Look for some fireworks in Baton Rouge if LSU and Bama can avoiod a stumble over the next month and a half.

USC will stay in striking distance due to the "ridiculously tough PAC-10" I see they are ninth after their lose to an unranked team. : double

yep, i'm not satisfied with tebow's play so far. if things dont shape up fast, lsu is going to give us a run for our money.... :(

and, yeah, USC is a joke, they lost to an unraked (sure, so did we) but they got manhandled, and we lost by a blocked extra point, yet they're in the top 10? i hate media love....

?

They have to play 3 top 5 teams over the next 8 weeks. Combine that with having to go to Oklahoma state on the last regular game of the season, its going to be an uphill battle. (OU's last 5 games at OSU......3 losses, 2 wins by 1 point each.) Stillwater, OK is OU's kryptonite

The Big 12 is just like the SEC in that even the bottom feeders can play with the big boys, and anyone can beat anyone on any given day. I still feel like there will be a mental let down......maybe AT Baylor this week, or AT Kansas St.

Once again, I think thats why you will see USC back in the picture again. Big 12, and SEC teams get to beat up on each other, and will also have to play in a championship game. If USC ends up with only 1 loss....they'll be in the mix for the Nat'l Title.

OU's toughest games are at home. I think Texas may give them a bit of a run but the rest are winnable.

Thats cool. Most OU fans, and Big 12 followers, would probably tell you that OU's toughest game is in fact on the road against Oklahoma St. It is a huge rivalry game, and OU never plays well in Stillwater. Combine that with the fact that Oklahoma St. will more than likely be a Top 10 team, by the time the game rolls around. They arent gettin the national attention yet...but this is the best team theyve had since their Barry Sanders squads.

Very interesting weekend for sure. My cable was out, so I didn't see too much besides the OSU game and some highlights at the bars on campus after the OSU game. What I will say is I forgot how good Beannie is. My dream is for USC to have to go to the Rose Bowl where an OSU team that is nothing like what the Trojans played 2 weeks ago can return the favor. An experienced TP and healthy Wells will give USC fits. Still have a lot of football to play yet. I'm just glad our season isn't going to be the nightmare that it looked like it could be following week 3.
