The Official NCAA College Football Thread

That was rough. I didn't know the final until I check ESPN this morning. I turned it off and went to bed after it was 41-14 and we missed on the 4th and 4. I guess a freshman QB and an inexperienced defense met up with a damn good Florida team. Where did those freakin' running backs come form?

Holy crap LSU got face ****ed by Florida. LSU didnt look so great when they finally played a really good team. Same could be said for Missouri as well.

I gotta give props to Oklahoma and Texas, that game was great and both teams are legit top 10 or higher teams.

I dont think Alabama should have been left at #2. They should have moved up to #1 imo.

I can definitely say LSU is overrated...for now. Give them a few more games to get the QB situation in order and they should be OK. I'm still not too sure about this dual D-coordinator we have going. They looked way too confused and didn't pressure Tebow hardly at all. Ole Miss showed you get in his face and he is rattled. I just wish we could have been a little more competitive. This is one of those situations where you hope there is a rematch at the end of the season. :D

I can't say much for Missouri since I didn't see the game but looks like Chase Daniel isn't the Heisman material everyone made him out to be.

I watched most of it, he looked pretty good as usual until he throws 2 pics in their last two drives. One was completely bone headed, he just throws it up in a crowd on a 2nd down :nono: The other was a great play by the DB to dive in and grab it, but still.

LSU finally came alive in the 4th, credit their defense with win. Mizzou got handled by Texas, the longhorns are looking just about unbeatable right now, although we all know that can change in a second.

If LSU can put two halves together they would be unbeatable. I keep telling myself "young team" but somewhere along the line it has to start jelling. Georgia is next.

Texas just annialated Mizzou. Some interesting match-up possibilties for the BCS shaping up.

so, now that the BCS rankings are out, i have to ask.....

HOW THE FOCK do you rank USC and OSU ahead of UF? i mean, UF loses by a blocked extra point to a team that ALMOST beat #2, yet USC losing to an unranked by a larger margin, as well as OSU losing by a TON to USC, they're higher ranked? what a joke!

i STILL cant stand the BcS! most retarded/unfair system EVER!

USCw is up due to the win against The Ohio St. Because The Ohio St. didn't drop too far as well as USCw when they lost to Oregon St. Kind of a mushmouth way of looking at it but tOSU stays up due to playing USCw which everone knows plays in the "ridiculously tough" PAC 10.

I said it earlier when Florida lost to Ole Miss (they are 2-4 and that is the rub) that I thought Florida dropped too far. Look at it like this. Win out the regular season and take the SEC Championship and you'll get your chance. LSU is out by virtue of it's blowout to Florida...sort of the same situation Virginia Tech was in last season with it's blowout loss to LSU.
