well, penn state got lucky, and pulled off a win against OSU. sucks this game means as much as it does, but, ****, penn state, will likely go undefeated, something an SEC team likely wont do. i can only hope for UF to win the sec champ game now, due to this, and, if UF doesnt win that, i hope to god that bama wins it, and beats out penn state for the nat champ game, and wins it for the SEC again!!!

amazing how the sticks fall in these games!

At 9-0, its no longer luck. Penn State is for real, and OSU can only look to the future, which looks very bright for Pryor IMO.

Great game last night. I know our friends down south will say it was a snoozer with so few points scored, but that is Big Ten football in the fall. Big hits all night long on defense. I'm surprised Penn State shut down Beanie so well and that Pryor threw the ball as well as he did. Obviously it wasn't enough and that fumble really hurt, but I am OK with the outcome. Joe Pa may be just a figure head now, but he still inspires his kids and they'll show up to play in January.

So exactly how is it luck to beat a top 10 team in their building? Penn State's defense was all over the buckeyes the whole game. You SEC guys are just crazy, you had a two year run as the best conference and you somehow think that it has been that way forever. Hell in 2005 the Big 10 was rated the best, this year the Big 12 is clearly better.

But for those saying Penn State doesnt deserve a shot even at 12-0, go take a gander at Alabamas schedule. Not exactly brutal either. Clemson is at the bottom of the ACC, they have played ONE team in the SEC with a winning record in conference. They have one SEC game left with a team with a winng record when they play LSU.

Not only does Penn State have the better OCC win, Oregon State beat USC and is tied for first in the Pac 10. They have played more ranked teams 3 (Illinois, Wisky ranked in AP top 25 when they played, and #9 BCS Ohio State) They also have Michigan State who will is currently AP #22, and MSU will probably be 9-2 when they play Penn State and ranked higher than 22.

All this weekend proved is that the SEC is WAY OVERATED and has 3 good teams (UF, Bama, UGA) and 1 descent one (LSU), and 8 mediocre to bad ones.

Vandy goes down to Duke, TO DUKE. West Virginia bitch slaps Auburn worse than any SEC team has all season.

Penn St is a good team no denying that. I didn't get to see the game but you don't go into tOSU and get a win without being pretty good. As far as the SEC it isn't so much a down year more than the participants are a little different. Everyone knew Florida and Georgia would be good and still are even with the loses. Alabama is a surprise but I can guarantee they will have a loss before the end of the season. We have always had the also rans but over all there has always been 3-4 good teams. Most conferences have one maybe two teams worth anything. The Big 12 looks to be the class of the BCS conferences this season. My only hope is Texas and Penn St keep winning or an SEC school can survive because if that doesn't happen we are stuck with PAC 1 USC in the championship game and ESPN with spooze all over everyones face from Thanksgiving til New Years.

More goodness this weekend. I'm not working the LSU game Saturday. I'm just fed up with all the crap I have to go through to go see them annihilate Tulame.

The World's Largest Cocktail Party this weekend. I look for Florida to wax Georgia. Texas and Texas Tech will be no contest. Texas by a bunch.
