does anyone have any info about the mustang predator made in the 80's or any links or any other special fox body mustangs?

I've never heard of the Predator.

For special edition Fox3s:
Late 1979-early '80s indy pace car
Early '80s McLaren Mustangs
'84-86 Mustang SVO
Prototype turbocharged 5.8L '88 GT
Prototype '87 SVO(more the engine than the car).
7-up '87+ Fox3s.

Probably others I forgot.

I remember looking at a couple of them when they were new at the dealer. Nice, but they wanted too much for them IMO.

Ohhkay, so it was a regional dealer-prep car like a Twister II?

With that, add the Twister II to the list.

I would say it was more like a Saleen. It was put together using appearance and performance options by an independent company and then sold through Ford dealerships. It just didn't catch on like Saleen. We had one dealership in Houston with them, and they were sold at several other dealerships around the country. If you didn't see it, look at the second link I posted, that guy has some history on it.
