Gee first I have the dreaded "intestinal inspection" approaching, oh what fun :nonono: . Next is the trip to the optometrist which I haven't seen (no pun intended) in many years and now for the worst part.........the DMV requests my appearance to renew my driver's license!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, just remembered, and now I'm on strike with the company I work for. What next?

Whoooooaa; the dreaded "finger wave"; followed by the optometrist and the DMV........ Well, maybe you can get them all done in one day and in that same order; which should put you in exactly the perfect mood for dealing with the DMV!

Oh yeah, I heard you guys were on strike..... sorry to hear that; and whose brilliant idea was it to have contract anniversary dates in the summer??? :bang: (ours, too)
Last time we went out (1998); I spent mornings "walking around in circles" with a few guys (and most of the female staff of the office bldg right behind Yuma Main C.O. :nice: ); and afternoons wiring machines used in the manufacture of cylindrical filters for liquids. Sure helped with food and bills on the stinkin' $200/week. Good luck!

Our union steward (useless user of oxygen) gave us picket assignments this morning for our 4 day "work action", then this afternoon said we won't be picketing our work location as it will just be shut down during the duration, so we are to picket at other locations within our work area. For $10/day, I think I'll save my union some money and just picket in my Stang.

That would be our local President. Recently, he has "helped me" out of a position within the company - this marks the second time I've been so helped by this "gentleman" in three years ("Being fair", don't you see). I have my soon-to-be certified letter all typed up and awaiting "..the 10 day period immediately prior to the contract anniversary date..." during which I can finally renounce, stop paying for actions that have generally hindered my carreer, and extol the virtues of living in a right-to-work state!

"The benefits of membership" have so far produced negative results for myself and frankly I'm unimpressed; all thanks to our Local President. :notnice: (only because SN doesn't have a smiley known as :finger: ).
