Yea, I've really come to realize and limitations of my car and setup, and that's driving the logical side of me to want a setup better than what I have. And honestly, with 03 Cobra prices dropping as much as they have over the past couple of years, it's becoming easier and easier to justify. But then the other side of me realizes that I'll never get back out of the car what I put in (mainly the blood, sweat, and tears) and makes me want to keep it. IDK, I guess I'm getting to the point where I've realized that it's either keep the car or take a loss. There isn't really an in-between.

The one thing I have decided is that I'm not going to spend any significant amount more money on it. If I do turbo it or get a different blower, I'm hoping that cost will be offset by selling the SVO and nitrous kit.

I'm probably going to spray like a 50 shot. Back when I sprayed a 35 shot it a couple years ago, it picked up 5 tenths and 6 mph in the 1/4. So I'm thinking a little 50 shot will probably get me down into the 10s if it will hook (I think it will). I guess we'll see.

I tuned it myself with the Pro Racer Package. While a bit time consuming, it is actually pretty easy. There's a process to follow, and so long as you don't rush it, it's not hard to do at all. I've definitely had a lot of fun doing it.

I hear you when it comes to upgrading the car vs going with a new platform, that is an internal debate I've been fighting for a few years now. The blood sweat & tears factor is really what made me finally put my foot down.

I've been considering getting the sct prp myself. I've been hesitant because I'm still on the stock bottom end and would kick myself if I accidentally blew it up.

Tried to trade mine in on a nice 2012 GT last year. Glad they turned down. I would have missed my 03, and regretted it. Yeah, that 12 was nice, but......

Slight derail- Osan or the Kun and COME TO NELLIS!

Osan. I've already submitted my follow on application with Luke as my 1st choice and Nellis as my 2nd. I'll find out in April if I got selected or not.

Spent 1995 there. When you get there, give 779 a belly rub for me. Miss that jet.

Lol... they moved all the block 30's out from what I understand...

They have been replaced by block 40's from mountain home and various guard bases. (unless I am thinking about kun)

I take it you were a fiend?

Checker tails ftmfw...

Haha, derail not minded. I almost went USAF route back in college. Sometimes wish I would have.

I got it from Don Lasota, along with his training DVD and book. Highly recommended. He's been great with supporting any questions I've had along the way, too. I also picked up "Calibrated Success" (I think that as the name of it) by Greg Banish, which gave a lot of great info regarding tuning.

Kun had 30's in 95. They swapped for Eilson's blk 40's. Korea is a blk 40 world now. Avoid 2168, 2139, 0792, 0547...

On a Mustang note, I now have all the stuff for my KB install and dyno etc already paid for. Just have to get off my lazy ass and install. Then I get to be part of the boost club just like you guys. :b
