Do I need to keep the engine cover on my 18 GT, it looks like it was left over from A bad 60s sci-fi movie, does it serve A purpose besides trapping engine heat?
Thanks for your answer, I’ll probably take it off and leave the center section with the 5.0 emblem stock and paint both sides red to match the red and black color scheme that I’m going for, and reinstall it
This cover is a GDI sound muffler I believe although some have removed it and report no change in noise. It does cover the multiple plumbing lines for the dual injection set up.
Thanks, for the info, I’m going to take mine off, and either leave it off, or leave the center with the 5.0 emblem the stock color, and paint both sides Race Red to match my exterior color
