I guess the people in GA shouldn't worry too much. A 15 second car with a 150 shot is probably only at best higher to mid 12s... Go spray down every street, it would be like a regular HCI car getting on it...

LOL yea.. thats the whole problem wih the damn car.. a good PI swap, set of n/a cams, and a 150 shot, it oughta stroll.. H/C/I done right on these cars with a good suspension tranny and gears, is a strong car.. and the on spray it should be.. just DAMN

If this was directed at me, I was running 14.6 best and got darn consistent nearing the end of the day, and that was with burned up trac lock and 2.25 60's. I'll be in the 13s on the Hoosier DOT approved radials I am picking up from pacecar...
Deep 12s if/when I spray(when I get torque box reinforcements and a an extra tranny lined up, this one is whining quite a bit in 3rd...

It was, and I was just picking on you a little, no hard feelings... 14.6 isnt bad for the heat and the fact its a heavy vert. I am sure that shot wakes it up a good amount.

One thing though, I have done it before, saying you WILL be 13s with certain mods. You have 7 tenths to go, and although going from a 14.xx and dropping 7 tenths is easier than a 12.xx and dropping it, its never a guarentee. I have told people that when I went 13.1 @ 102, that it would go 12s and it never did (13.05 @ 103). I wish you all the luck, its always a blast to go that one bracket down, but to guarentee a number, just leaves room to be disappointed.

Just have fun with it, the times wll drop. TRUST ME, I was there at your age.

Its an aftermarket clutch, albeit a weak one so it will slip rather thatn catch and blow my tranny. Exactly why I am not runnin spray on the track dummy... I'll run street tires and have someone come with me. My friend is thinking bout bringing his BMW.

I know it is a stretch, but I think cutting a 1.7-1.8 60ft and dropping that alone by 4 tenths will reward me with a good high 13.
