I was running radar today and some guy doing 100mph flew by me. I took off after him but my old car's transmission began to slip heavily. The engine would rev but it would barely increase in speed. I finally got to 90mph, but it wouldnt go any faster than that. I watched the speeder get smaller and smaller. Finally I lost sight of him and I was pounding my fist against the old car's steering wheel. I made it to headquarters and swapped the old one for a 2004 with 9000 miles. The new one will move!! That speeder doesnt know how lucky he is. It would have cost him $310.50

Why not just call it in (others in the area)??? Sucks though I have a few cop friends and they hate letting anybody get away.

If I pull out right away I only have to get up to around 115-120 in order to catch them within a half mile. Normally if I pull out and floor it they will see me and slow down, but when I pulled out the car hardly moved so the guy didnt really know I was coming after him.

I didnt have a plate number and it is not really worth calling it in. No one was around anyway.

those maruder are cool I saw in tampa the other day didnt know it was a cop car till the light were flashing I heard the computer has been tuned on them

Nah, they are bone stock except for the lights and such. I know the guy that drives the red one here and he is constantly taking people to jail. He even has people pull up beside him and try to race since they cant see it is a cop inside.

how fast are those cop crown vics??? LOL just curious......

310 bucks for the fine??? wow.. i did 103 in a 65 and it was only 204bucks... what was the speed limit?

The crown vics do about 130mph. The fines here for FHP are as stated below

1-5 mph over = warning
6-14 = $165.50
15-19 = $185.50
20-29 = $210.50
30 and over = $310.50

Brand new Vic's that HP gets in Ohio will run 138 in full dress.
